Jenny Harrison Place, Founder/Master Level Esthetician
Jenny’s journey in skincare began under the mentorship of Master Estheticians from Russia, shaping a professional approach deeply rooted in European techniques. As one of the original estheticians in the area, she takes pride in her extensive experience and the growing awareness of skincare among her clients.
Over the years, Jenny has mastered a wide range of techniques, including dermaplaning, micro-needling, Ayurvedic skincare, Chinese face mapping, chemical peels, micro-current technology, advanced skin techniques, makeup artistry, and Reiki I & II. This diverse expertise allows her to create tailored, effective treatments for every client.
Known for her discerning eye and dedication to results, Jenny always incorporates the latest advancements into her practice while staying true to proven methods. Jokingly calling herself “the cynical esthetician,” she carefully evaluates skincare trends to separate fleeting fads from treatments that genuinely deliver. She is particularly attuned to the ever-changing needs of her clients, especially the seasonal impacts on skin health, and enjoys adapting West End Skincare’s services to meet those evolving demands.
Jenny’s passion for holistic wellness runs deep, influenced by her upbringing with her mother, one of the first massage therapists in the Seacoast. Growing up in a nurturing and healing environment fostered her lifelong appreciation for caring for others and inspires her approach to esthetics to this day.
Inspired by the transformative results she sees with every treatment, Jenny loves creating personalized action plans that deliver visible outcomes—whether through medical-grade methods or holistic techniques. As part of your beauty team, she is committed to helping you achieve glowing, healthy skin and the confidence that comes with it.
When not in the studio, Jenny treasures time with her husband and four adult children, embracing the adventures of family life. She stays energized with hot workouts at Blaze and enjoys connecting with friends, both old and new, to bring her best self to work every day.

Aspen Ziadeh, Esthetician
Aspen brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to our team. Actively serving in the United States Air Force, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness, a master’s degree in Leadership, and a Nursing Assistant license. With expertise across multiple esthetic specialties, her current focus is sugar waxing—a gentle, all-natural hair removal method perfect for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Her journey into esthetics began with a personal mission: to conquer her own teenage struggles with acne. After years of trial and error, Aspen discovered the transformative power of esthetic care. Now, she’s passionate about helping others build self-confidence through healthy, glowing skin.
Outside the studio, Aspen is a creative at heart, finding joy in crafting everything from watercolor art to woodworking projects. She also prioritizes fitness, spending time in the gym and cherishing moments with her significant other and their three lovable dogs.
Aspen is thrilled to offer the Seacoast community her expertise in sugar waxing, a sought-after service that leaves skin smooth, hair-free, and happy. Whether you’re new to sugaring or a seasoned pro, she can’t wait to welcome you to her treatment room!
Jena Berenberg, Esthetician
"Jena Berenberg has been a licensed esthetician for more than twenty years, but her love of skincare began even earlier when her mother took her for her first facial at just 13 years old.
She began her career at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and over the next two decades, her work would take her through many corners of the esthetics industry and around the world. While living in Belize, Central America, Jena had the opportunity to work alongside Mayan herbalists, deepening her understanding of plants and botanicals and incorporating them into her skincare practice. She eventually opened her first skincare studio in the Caribbean, where she specialized in holistic, botanical-based facials.
From there, Jena shifted into a decidedly more high-energy side of the industry, opening an award-winning waxing salon specializing in head-to-toe waxing services and leading a team of estheticians. After ten years of ownership, she sold the salon and went on to consult, educate, and train other beauty professionals, helping them elevate both their esthetic skills and their businesses.
But after years of ownership, consulting, and education, Jena’s service-provider heart never left her. She eventually returned to the treatment room at her slow-living, boutique and skincare studio in Northern California, working with Botnia and creating holistic treatments centered around healthy, nourished, well-supported skin.
Throughout every chapter of her career, Jena’s philosophy has remained simple: meet the guest and skin where it is in the moment. Rather than forcing skin into a prescribed protocol, she believes in listening to what it needs that day and providing thoughtful, individualized care that supports its natural function and helps it glow from the inside out.
Jena recently made New Hampshire home and is thrilled to bring her years of experience to the treatment room at West End Skincare. Outside of the treatment room, she works with salon and spa owners as a Business Evolution Strategist and can often be found exploring the Seacoast with her Basset Hound, Bijou."

We are located at 875 Islington Street in Portsmouth, NH, within the historic Button Factory. You can find the studio entrance located on the right side of the building, behind Gateway Tai Chi. We are happy to offer all of our clients on-site parking.
